Men’s golf shirts

Brother J’s, the store’s men’s section toward the back, has a fresh supply of ultra light and soft golf shirts from Johnnie O and Flag & Anthem that are equally ideal for an afternoon on the course or a night on the town. A UPF of 50 for sun protection is an added bonus. Plenty of fun designer tees and 7-inch colorful Fair Harbor swim trunks too.

“My favorite part of shopping at 2 Sisters is finding quality and comfort,” says Eddie Hamzic. “I enjoy having unique, boutique-style shirts that I can dress up or just wear them casually out and about.”

Summer sundresses

Sundresses never go out of style, and 2 Sisters has quite the variety to help you kick off festival, graduation party and alfresco dining season.

Current trends for summer include “Earthy vibes and more natural tones,” says owner Natalie Amabile, “and we really like to carry the kind of versatile dresses that are perfect for anything from a day in the city to a casual dinner with your girlfriends.”

Also, don’t forget to take a look at the strappy Heartloom tops that pair well with high-waisted jeans or shorts.

Fitch & Fennel sauces, spreads and seasonings

Fitch + Fennel is known for their variety of tasty spices, salsas, sauces, dips and spreads, and Raffia brought this rising brand to Park Ridge earlier this spring.

Perfect for your bolstering your kitchen skills and adding a flavorful kick to patio parties, you can even customize your own gift boxes with any combination of products (think olive oil, cherry vanilla fruit spread, Italian seasoning, fruited salsa, sweet bourbon BBQ sauce, etc.) and even some colorful dishware that catches your eye.

“The boxes just let people create a gift in a fun, useful, presentable way,” says owner Emily Larson. “And you’re going to love the options. Plus, you get a QR code from Fitch + Fennel to see their favorite recipes.”

Glasshouse candles and fragrances

A new array of perfumes, lotions and candles just arrived at Raffia in late May in summer-themed scents like violet & amber, sea salt & beach rose, sea mist, and coconut.

“It’s just such a consistent product, and they all sell so well,” Emily tells us. “They’re very versatile too, so we like offering both the reliable scents we all know and love with the creative new ones they’re constantly putting out.”

Touché’s version of this Parisian staple is a thick 12-ounce NY strip or eight-ounce filet, cooked to your liking with a bordelaise (wine-and-marrow-based brown sauce) or au poivre (bold, creamy peppercorn pan sauce), all with a pad of butter melting over the top as it arrives at your table. Worth mentioning, too, that Wednesdays are half-price bottles of wine at Touche, and martinis are $8 on Thursdays.
