Rosie & The Rivets

Shout Out

Shout Out is comprised of some of Chicago’s finest professional musicians, performing a wide variety of music from the 1960s through today’s top hits. You will hear all of your favorite top-40 radio hits from artists like Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Usher and Maroon 5. They are also well versed in the ’80s, ’90s and early 2000s. Created by the national award-winning band Maggie Speaks, Shout Out will keep you dancing all night long

Latin Swing Factor

This energetic Latin band is heating up the dance floor with salsa, cumbia and merengue music. Arrive early for free salsa lessons from 7:15-8 p.m.
Children’s concerts at Prospect Park
Little Miss Ann
Tuesday, July 27
6-7 p.m. at Prospect Park
Ann Torralba, aka “Little Miss Ann,” is an award-winning Chicago kids’ musician. Little Miss Ann has made five family music albums that span different genres such as folk, rock, punk, country, bluegrass and more.
In case of inclement weather, children’s concerts will be held in the Paula Hassell O’Connor Community Building at Prospect Park.
Scribble Monster
Tuesday, Aug. 10
6-7 p.m. at Prospect Park
ScribbleMonster performs music for kids across the Chicagoland area and well beyond in the form of musical playdates. Jim and Jayne are the foundation of the ScribbleMonster band and often perform as a duo.

Penguins of Madagascar
Thursday, July 15
Beginning at dusk (8:30 p.m.) at Prospect Park
Plucky penguins Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private — the most elite spies ever hatched — join forces with a chic undercover organization known as the North Wind. Led by highly trained, handsome and arrogant Agent Classified, this special inter-species task force must stop a many-tentacled villain, Dr. Octavius Brine, from destroying the world.

Trolls World Tour
Thursday, Aug. 5
Beginning at Dusk (8:30 p.m.) at Prospect Park
Poppy and Branch discover that there are six different troll tribes scattered over six different lands. Each tribe is also devoted to six different kinds of music — funk, country, techno, classical, pop and rock. When rockers Queen Barb and King Thrash set out to destroy the other music, Poppy and Branch embark on a daring mission to unite the trolls and save the diverse melodies from becoming extinct.
