The owners of successful Chicago establishments like The Country Club (Wrigleyville), Waterhouse (Lakeview) and Pitchfork (Old Irving Park) added to their résumé with the opening of Easy Street Pizza and Beer Garden in the Portage Park neighborhood four years ago.

The popularity of Easy Street led to a second city location and then, coming this September, their first venture to the suburbs right here in Park Ridge (where the owner, Dan Latino, and his family live), taking over the old Perry’s space on Devon Avenue.

This casual, family-friendly restaurant is bound to be a great fit for Park Ridge. They’re famous for their pan (think thick, buttery crust) and specialty pizzas, popcorn chicken and loaded taco-style tater tots (topped with seasoned ground beef, cheesy béchamel, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo and sour cream), which could be a meal in itself.

Don’t forget their homemade sangria or “lemonade stand,” made of a delicious blend of Tito’s vodka, fresh lemonade and strawberry puree, to put the perfect cap on a warm fall day.

A nice variety of salads, appetizers (fried pickles, buffalo chicken rolls, etc.) and sandwiches (smoked pulled pork, cheesy beef, crispy chicken, etc.) round out a mouth-watering menu.

Easy Street, which will be offering weekend brunch from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. as well, is located at 711 Devon. Follow them on Instagram at @EasyStreetPizza and on Facebook at Easy Street Park Ridge. 847-823-4422. EasyStreetParkRidge.com
