Park Ridge Park District
Families have a brand-new place to play, learn and stay active, right here in Park Ridge. The Oakton Sports Complex, located at 2800 W. Oakton Street, is now open and filled with year-round opportunities for kids, teens and adults to get moving and have fun together.
This beautifully updated facility features a completely renovated main ice rink, a brand-new studio ice rink, a new 60×60-yard indoor athletic field with a walking track around the perimeter, multipurpose rooms, an athletic training room, and concessions operated by The Harp and Fiddle. Whether you’re dropping in for a snack after skating or warming up with friends between games, you’ll find plenty of cozy spaces to relax.
Families will love the expanded programming as well. The new indoor athletic field means more room for youth clinics, open turf play and exciting adult leagues. From soccer to skill-building classes, there’s something for every age and every ability.

On the ice, public skating hours offer a classic, affordable outing the whole family can enjoy. Those wishing to develop their skating skills can start with Oakton’s introductory skating lessons or developmental hockey programs, while more experienced skaters can grow through the Oakton Edge Skating Academy. With decades of history and a tradition of producing Olympic-level skaters and coaches, the Oakton Ice Arena continues to be a place where confidence, discipline and joy take center stage.
Whether your family is trying a new activity or returning to a beloved tradition, the Oakton Sports Complex invites you to explore, play and make memories together. Stop by this season and see all the fun waiting inside. Visit PRParks.org for more information.
