Inside Scoop: Plan ahead for summer fun in the pool with the Park Ridge Park District

With warmer days on the way, now is the perfect time to start planning for summer fun in Park Ridge. After all, nothing beats the heat like a refreshing dip at the Park Ridge Park District’s aquatic facilities.

2025 summer pool passes
Passes went on sale April 1. Buy yours by May 31 to take advantage of the early-bird discount. As an added bonus, households that purchase their pass in April will receive two free outdoor pool guest passes.

You can purchase your pass online at prparks.org or in person at the Park District’s customer service desks. If you had a pool pass last year, your existing ID will be reactivated after renewal. If you’re a new pass holder or have lost your previous ID, you’ll need to visit a customer service desk for a photo and new pass printing.

Pool access & opening dates
A summer pool pass grants entry to all Park Ridge Park District outdoor aquatic facilities, including:
Centennial Aquatic Center
Hinkley Pool
South Park Wading Pool
Prospect Park Splash Pad

Weather permitting, Centennial Aquatic Center, South Park Wading Pool and Prospect Park Splash Pad open on Saturday, May 24. Hinkley Pool opens on Saturday, May 31.

Celebrate with a pool party or private rental
Make your summer celebrations extra special with a private pool rental. Reservations opened April 1 for residents and April 4 for non-residents. Book online at prparks.org.
You can also celebrate with a birthday party at the Centennial Aquatic Center. Parties are available seven days a week; reserved between 12:30-7 p.m. during open swim hours.

The birthday party package includes the patio area reserved for your party for 1.5 hours and food choice provided by our concessionaire at the Centennial Aquatic Center.
For rental or party inquiries, contact Jenna Jezek at jj****@*****ks.org or 847-292-8921. Visit prparks.org for full details.
