Chicago Scene: High Five Ramen, Clue — Live on Stage, award-winning ROOH adds tasting menu and James Bond exhibit extended at Museum of Science and Industry

High Five Ramen
We all know there are a few chilly nights still lingering out there, and what better way to warm up than with a nice bowl of ramen? One of our favorite hidden gems anywhere is High Five Ramen, a tiny subterranean restaurant located just underneath Green Street Smoked Meats in Chicago’s incredibly hot West Loop neighborhood.
The space is dark and cozy and only has 16 seats. No reservations are taken, so if there’s a waitlist (which there surely will be unless you arrive before it opens), don’t fret. Just sign in and have a drink at the Green Street Smoked Meats bar upstairs while you wait. The half-spice ramen is just enough of a kick for most people, but if you’re feeling brave, you can always go full on with their face-numbing Kanabo spice.
Our favorite is the signature bowl with a tonkotsu-style pork and miso broth loaded with sliced pork belly, ramen noodles, seasoned egg, black garlic oil, locally grown bean sprouts and fresh scallions. Definitely satisfying to the soul. Don’t forget their selection of Japanese beer, sake, whiskey and ice cold slushies. 112 N. Green Street in Chicago. HighFiveRamen.com
Clue — Live on stage! visits Chicago Feb. 18-March 2
A mansion. A murder. A mystery. All in one evening. Murder and blackmail are on the menu when six mysterious guests assemble at Boddy Manor for a night they’ll never forget. Was it Mrs. Peacock in the study with the knife? Or was it Colonel Mustard in the library with the wrench? Based on the fan-favorite 1985 Paramount Pictures movie and inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is the ultimate whodunit that will leave you dying of laughter and keep you guessing until the final twist.
Playing at the CIBC Theatre at 18 W. Monroe in Chicago from Feb. 18-March 2. Ticket information available at BroadwayInChicago.com
