The star of the show, however, might just be the @crustbrewing Crustoberfest, their signature Oktoberfest brew. The Parkway Bank Park venues will be selling food and drinks, dishing up their own fun twist on German cuisine (as well as some of their regular favorites). There will be picnic tables set up, but feel free to bring your own chairs or blankets. Parking for Rosetoberfest is available at the Parkway Bank Park parking garage and is free with validation from any of the park’s venues. Foodie spotlight dish of the week: Steak frites at Foodie spotlight dish of the week: Steak frites at @cafe.touche in Edison Park (you’ll find this dish featured in our big fall issue) Touché’s version of this Parisian staple is a thick 12-ounce NY strip or eight-ounce filet, cooked to your liking with a bordelaise (wine-and-marrow-based brown sauce) or au poivre (bold, creamy peppercorn pan sauce), all with a pad of butter melting over the top as it arrives at your table. Worth mentioning, too, that Wednesdays are half-price bottles of wine at Touche, and martinis are $8 on Thursdays.
